Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the Order Relay Shopify application operated by ARTiFICIAL MEDIA. By installing, subscribing to or using Order Relay, the merchant agrees to these terms.

1. The service

Order Relay lets Shopify merchants configure automated exports of Shopify order data, apply filters and templates, deliver exports to supported destinations and perform supported Shopify post-processing.

2. Shopify account and authorization

Order Relay requires a valid Shopify store and the permissions needed for the features the merchant chooses to use. The merchant is responsible for maintaining appropriate access to its Shopify account and for the actions of users authorized to administer the app.

3. Merchant responsibilities

The merchant is responsible for:

• configuring automations, filters, templates and destinations correctly;
• ensuring that exported data may lawfully be sent to each configured destination;
• maintaining the security and accuracy of destination credentials and recipient addresses;
• reviewing exports and automation behaviour before relying on them for business-critical processes; and
• complying with applicable privacy, data-protection, consumer, tax and other laws relevant to its use of exported information.

4. Billing

Order Relay uses Shopify app billing. Subscription and usage charges are presented and administered through Shopify according to the plan selected by the merchant. Usage-based charges may apply to successful exports as described in the applicable Shopify pricing presentation. Shopify's billing systems and terms also apply.

5. Destinations and third-party services

A merchant may configure Order Relay to send information to third-party HTTPS, email or SFTP services. ARTiFICIAL MEDIA does not control merchant-selected destinations and is not responsible for their availability, security, processing practices or subsequent use of exported information.

6. Acceptable use

The merchant must not use Order Relay to violate applicable law, interfere with the service, gain unauthorized access to systems or data, distribute malicious code, or transmit information to a destination without appropriate authority.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to operate Order Relay reliably, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. We may maintain, modify, add or remove features where reasonably necessary for security, compatibility, legal compliance or operation of the service.

8. Data protection

Our handling of personal information is described in theOrder Relay Privacy Policy.

9. Suspension and termination

The merchant may stop using Order Relay by uninstalling the app, subject to any charges already incurred through Shopify. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful use, material breach of these terms or threats to the service.

10. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Order Relay is provided on an as-available basis. The merchant remains responsible for validating exported data, destination configuration and the suitability of the service for its particular business processes.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. To the extent permitted by law, ARTiFICIAL MEDIA is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from merchant configuration, third-party destination failures, Shopify availability, or use of exported information outside Order Relay.

12. Governing law

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and disputes relating to these terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. Revised terms take effect when published with an updated effective date, except where additional notice is required by law.
